We are a community radio station committed to serving Mount Dora with Local Radio, every hour you find out what's going on in our town.
WVGT 97.1 FM
Mount Dora had an FM and AM station licensed to our community. Both moved South to the Orlando market, the AM leaving over 10 years ago. We chose the AM stations original call letters WVGT - The Voice of the Golden Triangle, bringing local radio back to Mount Dora. WVGT is an LP-100 class FM community station licensed to Mount Dora, Florida. The coverage area is limited to our community.
Our Directors
BROCK LESPERANCE - I've been a broadcaster for my entire career, starting out at WLOQ in Winter Park as a DJ while in High School. Mount Dora is our home and we are excited to bring local radio back to our town.
MARK WOTRING - Mount Dora is a special place, and as an over 20 year resident I am glad to be able to bring local radio back to our town. Thanks for listening, I hope you enjoy WVGT.
